Maths Teacher (QTS or unqualified)
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: Kent Range pay scale (M1-UPS) plus SEN allowance
A ‘Good’ rated SEMH school in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, are recruiting for a full-time Maths teacher to teach small classes of SEMH pupils (nurturing needs) across Key stage 4. Candidates must have previous experience teaching GCSE and BTEC Maths. Pupils have challenging behaviours and need support engaging in lessons, all class teachers are supported by 2 full-time teaching assistants.

Suitable Maths Teachers:
· QTS or equivalent. However unqualified teachers, ECTs, Maths graduates or Maths tutors will be considered. Excellent knowledge of the GCSE and BTEC Maths curriculum. Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential!
· Will be creative, organised, patient and nurturing in their approach and interventions.
· Confident with behaviour management and conflict resolution
