About the role;

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to pursue and kickstart their career within the social care and or special needs sector. If you’re seeking valuable experience to be able to become an experienced support worker with children or young adults this is the role for you.

Whether you have experience within care, residential backgrounds, coaching, sports work, or community work, we would love to hear from you! You don’t need a formal teaching or care qualifications but it would be a bonus, just transferrable skills, and a desire to make a difference to the lives of young children/adults.

Is this role good for me if I have experience already?

This is a great opportunity for those who have experience as there are lots of fantastic opportunities to progress quickly and senior roles available.You can also get a bonus of £1500 if you have a health and social care level 2 with experience when you start.The companies we work with have a rapid progression process for those with abmotion and ability.If you are someone who likes to keep developing themselves there is training every three weeks and opportunities to gain lots of qualifications in order to grow as a practitioner.There are clear mile stones for you to hit and when they are reached you get an automatic pay rise which people love.

We can offer part-time and full time contracted permanent hours.

Do you need qualifications?

Put simply no, we are looking for people with the right character and transferable skills from any sector or background. If training is needed or refresher training we can provide it absolutely free. Yes free, and all our training are government accredited by a professional training provider that we work with.

You can gain:

Health and social care levels 2 and 3

Teaching assistant Levels 2 and 3

Special needs levels 2 and 3

Behaviour management levels 2 and 3

Understanding Autism

Understanding ADHD and mental health with children

What we need is people with character and a passion to a make difference.

Working patterns available;

Full time

You must be able to work 5 shifts a week & a mixture of two shifts and 2 weekends out of 3

which are (07.15am-16.45 & 13:30 – 22:00 )

Salary - £20,250 - £23,250

Part time

You must be available for a set amount of days a week to work a mixture of two shifts

which are (07.15am-16.45 - 13:30 – 22:00 )

£11.50 an hour

3 Day-rolling contract

You will work 3 days on 3 days off a rolling rota and a salary of £27,250

Flexible working patterns available

You can work as much or as little as you like each week. You must be available for a mixture of in the week and the odd weekend shifts.

£11.50 an hour

Types of shifts available;

07.15 am-16.45 (Typical day).

13:30 – 22:00 (Typical late shift)

Rates of pay;

· £11.50 an hour

Age range;

· On average (5 - 25 years).

Qualifications;

· Non-required – Transferrable skills needed.

Your duties will include;

· Working with children at their homes or in classrooms

· Taking children on vocational activities.

· Taking the child or young adult to an activity.

· Monitoring children’s behaviour and progress.

· Great communication with legal guardians

· Encouraging children or young adults to interact and engage in activities.

· Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to their individual needs and personalities.

You will need to have;

· Transferrable skills from your personal or working life.

· The ability to demonstrate active listening skills and strong verbal communication skills.

· The ability to build positive relationships and understand the individual needs of the children or young adults in your care.

· The ability to provide varying levels of individual attention, reassurance, and support.

· A personable, calm, and caring demeanour.
