One of our leading MRO Clients is expanding their team and looking for Unlicensed Avionics Technicians to join them in Manchester on a permanent basis!
Responsibilities include:
- Carry out maintenance in accordance with approved Maintenance Data
- Accountable for the technical integrity of all work carried out under their control
- Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area
- Maintenance and aircraft preparation of Customer aircraft to the highest standard
- Undertake routine maintenance checks and modifications as directed by zonal supervision
- Work with Check Manager and B1 or B2 Certifying Engineers to identify impending problems and generate solutions
- Provide updates to B1 or B2 Certifying Engineers on any issues impacting their work plan
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a B2 mechanic
- Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in an aviation engineering or similar mechanical engineering field
- Full UK Driving licence Essential
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Part 66 A Licence is preferred but not essential as the company will train and develop those with aspirations to grow their careers
