These posts offer an exciting opportunity and we are looking for well-motivated individuals with excellent teaching and content delivery skills to join the team responsible for the development and delivery of the Faculty of Engineering’s Aerospace Engineering programme. Aerospace and is number 1 in the Russell Group student satisfaction survey a fact we are very proud of. There are currently approximately 750 students attending this programme, which is expected to grow in the future.

Working closely with Course Director and staff in Interdisciplinary Programmes in Engineering, the successful candidates will play a key role in improving student experience, through creative curriculum development and delivery of engaging teaching to the highest standard.
With colleagues, you will provide effective academic and pastoral support to students during the Aerospace Engineering Programme.

You will contribute to activities for the recruitment and induction of the students. Our desire is to attract people with significant industrial experience of aerospace engineering as well as those from an academic background. The successful candidates require either proven experience of teaching and curriculum development in Higher Education or Further Education or evidence of strong potential in this area. Excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills, and a dedication to enhancing students’ learning experience are also required. Significant previous practical experience in aerospace engineering and the ability to exploit this to inform student learning is an advantage.
