About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Wastewater Performance Team as a Data and Reporting Analyst. This is a key role focusing on sewer flooding and pollution performance.
If your passion is a career in data analytics, identifying trends in that data to help solve problem then this opportunity will hit the mark.
You’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience in the creation and production of insightful analysis, looking at trends that will deliver new ways of working. Your trend analysis will be key to improving the environment and you will have the opportunity to present your findings to stakeholders with your full support.
You’ll support the production of the Wastewater Directorate Balanced Scorecard and support the development and production of a benefit reporting tool to track performance improvement initiatives.
About you
As this is an undergraduate role, we’re not looking for you to have proven work experience, but we are looking for you to be studying for a degree or have recently graduated. You’ll have a strong attention to detail with an analytical / solution focus and a drive to improve performance, strong communication skills, along with the proven ability to work to challenging deadlines.
You’ll ideally have experience of analysing performance data and translating into meaningful management information and be fully conversant in the use of Microsoft Office packages with advanced Excel skills.
