Job Description


As the UK Talent Acquisition Manager at Colliers, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing the talent acquisition strategy for our UK business. You will be responsible for attracting, assessing, and selecting top talent to meet Colliers' recruitment needs while ensuring a positive candidate experience. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align talent acquisition initiatives with business objectives, drive diversity and inclusion efforts, and continuously improve recruitment processes. Purpose of role:

UK Talent Acquisition Lead plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's talent landscape, ensuring that Colliers attracts and retains top talent to drive its growth and success in the highly competitive real estate market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the overall talent & business goals and objectives of Colliers UK.
  • Executive Search Assignments: Undertake executive search assignments for strategic hiring within the UK business, ensuring the recruitment of top-tier candidates for senior-level positions, as well as succession gaps, future skills required for Colliers UK.
  • Team Management: Adopt a coaching approach to the management of two team members, ensuring their own development and career development goals are fulfilled.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation, to attract and select high-quality candidates for a range of roles.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers, to understand their talent needs, provide guidance, and influence hiring decisions.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing and UK people team to enhance Colliers' employer brand, both internally and externally, through targeted recruitment marketing campaigns, social media presence, and other Colliers branding initiatives.
  • Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging: Drive diversity and inclusion efforts in recruitment by implementing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates and ensuring an unbiased selection process.
  • Recruitment Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Talent Acquisition Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate Smart Recruiters (ATS) and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience through all stages of the recruitment life cycle.
  • Talent Pipelining: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill positions, ensuring a proactive approach to talent acquisition.
  • PSL Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate their performance to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with business leaders and UK people team (talent management) to develop and execute workforce plans that anticipate and address talent gaps, succession planning, and future business needs. Conduct workforce analysis to identify key areas of focus and develop strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant GDPR, employment laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to legal requirements throughout the recruitment process.


Qualifications


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a team management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, assessment and selection techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies aligned with talent & business objectives.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes and utilizing applicant tracking systems (Smart Recruiters) and other HR technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to analyse recruitment metrics and use data-driven insights to improve processes and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in the real estate industry or professional services sector is desirable, but not essential.
