About the Company:
Belzona UK Ltd is an authorised Distributor of Belzona products in the United Kingdom. This position will be working within our brand-new facility based in Hawarden (Flintshire).
Belzona is a global leader in the design and manufacture of polymeric repair composites and protective coatings for machinery, equipment, buildings and structures. The business in the UK has a strong standing in industrial sectors including the water and wastewater and renewables sectors.
Job Description:
The key focus of this role is to provide support to the Distributorship with all marketing needs through:
- Support of Business operations with day-to-day marketing activities including: Marketing campaigns and communication, social media management, email marketing, event management, literature, and promo materials
- Development of engaging social media posts, blog articles, magazine publications, and marketing collateral
- Ensuring all marketing literature is up to date and written in accordance with pre-determined procedures and company branding
- Development and/or maintenance of company branding standards to ensure they are adhered to by all entities of the business
- Organisation of events that will impact a target audience
- Ensure successful and cost-effective events, paying attention to the objectives, budget, and time constraints
- Execute thorough research and present well-prepared proposals with solid suggestions
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Keep invoices, contracts, and other events records
- Facilitating and growing community relations programmes, charity initiatives, fundraising events, PR-events
- Organisation and attendance at exhibitions and tradeshows: ensuring the space is booked in a timely manner, furnishings and utilities are ordered according to specifications, branded displays, banners, and promo items are relevant to the theme of the exhibition and add value to the stand
- Work hand in hand with the Management Team on the yearly marketing plans and strategies
Person Specification:
In addition to a relevant marketing related qualification and/or experience in a marketing role, the successful candidate will also have the following:
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in a marketing department or working alongside creative teams
- Previous experience with managing social media business pages (mainly, LinkedIn)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including public speaking
- Fluency in MS Office programmes
- Creativity with a knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Ability to learn various software programmes to be able to manage company systems
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Corporate event planning and coordination skills
- Excellent organisational skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in an industrial sector
- Knowledge of WordPress is a plus (for blogging, and site building)
- Understanding and experience with AI is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems
