Job Description

Based in Ireland and the UK, the Total Rewards team are responsible for delivering a market competitive inclusive reward package that aligns to the overall business strategy of U.S. Bank

The reward team is responsible for the design and implementation of compensation and benefit programmes, that are compliant with all relevant laws, rules and regulations within Europe.

Our 2-year graduate program (undergraduate) will give you the opportunity to learn all aspects total reward completing three rotations of 8 months

Rotation 1: Reward strategy, design and operation.

  • Annual compensation review
  • Application of sales incentive plans
  • Compensation benchmarking ensuring country and market alignment
  • Executive remuneration programmes
  • Financial planning and forecasting
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and employee communication

Rotation 2: Laws, rules and regulations governing compensation and benefits inclusive of European pay equity requirements and ESG regulatory developments.

  • Gender Pay Gap monitoring and reporting
  • European Remuneration Regulations and Guidelines
  • European Regulatory Reporting and Disclosures

Rotation 3: Benefit design and implementation

  • Pension
  • Healthcare
  • Wellbeing
  • Benefit market benchmarking ensuring country and market alignment
  • Financial analysis

Technical Competencies

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a target completion date of May 2023
  • Ability to start graduate program on Sept 4, 2023

Ideal candidate

  • Achieving min 2.1 Bachelor's degree
  • Willing to study for CIPD qualification (funded by the Total Rewards)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and contribute within a dynamic team environment
  • Attention to detail

Location: Citypoint London (hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days home)
