What will you do?

  • Work with senior originators, based in London, in the origination and execution efforts of the Corporate DCM team, with a particular focus on UK clients
  • Gain a good understanding of the Fixed Income Sales and Trading platform (bonds, derivatives, interest rate derivatives and credit sales and trading)
  • Provide analytical resources and expertise to support origination and execution efforts including:
    • Preparing bespoke pitching materials/ideas and client coverage support
    • Preparing pertinent macroeconomic slides when relevant to the corporate bond market
    • Providing regular multi-currency pricing updates for clients
    • Supporting the execution of bond mandates in various forms and currencies
    • Supporting the preparation and coordination of roadshows
    • Assisting in developing and building new client relationships
    • Maintaining and updating certain databases required in Corporate DCM
    • Compiling weekly market updates and commentary (covering topics such as fixed income markets, rates and recent transactions) for internal and external clients

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal counterparts (M&A, corporate banking, legal, sales, trading, research, IB), as well as colleagues in other business areas in London, Paris, Frankfurt, New York, Toronto and Sydney where the bank has other origination offices

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • An agile intellect and a strong work ethic
  • An awareness of global economic issues and a genuine interest in the global markets
  • Creativity, logic, interpersonal skills, inner drive, and a strong approach to teamwork
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills; experience using Microsoft Excel and VBA in a business environment is preferred.
  • Direct work experience or experience in financial markets is preferred

What is in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, on progressive thinking to keep growing, and on working together to deliver trusted advice to our clients.

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable
