Job description
IDS is a leading Data & Quality consultancy, and we are currently seeking two experienced UAT Test Analysts to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Manchester, and it is a hybrid position, which will require some onsite work.
Responsibilities:
As a UAT Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing user acceptance testing for a large project within the retail industry. You will work closely with project stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to ensure that the project meets the client's requirements and delivers high-quality software solutions. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing test plans and test cases to ensure full test coverage of the system
- Performing manual and automated testing of the software
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and issues
- Collaborating with business analysts and development teams to resolve defects
- Providing regular feedback to stakeholders on testing progress and results
- Participating in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 3 years of experience in UAT testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience in creating and executing test cases
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the retail industry would be an advantage
