As a Work-based Learning Tutor for Plumbing, you’ll be working in a rewarding & varied role, getting out & about in the community and visiting a range of businesses to pass on your skills and develop the next generation of Plumbing professionals

You’ll be building relationships with employers and maximising opportunities for apprentices while working closely with them to monitor progress through 1:1’s and identify areas needing focus.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
Teaching Plumbing in a hands-on practical learning environment
Monitoring & Assessing learner progress
Liaising and building relationships with employers
Championing our commitment to putting students first
After your first year with us, success would look like:
Effectively supported students in their apprenticeships
Enthusiastically engaged with the college's dedicated CPD programmes
Built Strong working relationships and supported colleagues where possible
We’re open-minded & welcome all applicants who believe they can build success with us, though ideally, you will:
Have qualifications and strong industry experience in Plumbing, preferably with Gas quals
Hold a qualification such as A1/TAQA/Certificate in Education & Training or be willing to work towards upon starting (Fully funded by us!)
Be enthusiastic about work-based learning for construction apprentices
Be excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and help us constantly improve
