Job description
TES Tutoring Center is hiring tutors to teach English and/or Math to students in grades PK - 5. The teacher will work with students in a small group (1:4 teacher to student ratio) setting. Teaching materials and resources will be provided. This is a part-time, year-round position available on the weekends. This is a great opportunity for individuals who would like to gain more experience in the education field.
Qualification:
-Min. 1 year of tutoring/teaching experience
- Associates Degree (or at least 2 years of undergrad completed)
Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge of Common Core Standards
-Ability to teach ELA and Math to grades K-5.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide reports on a weekly basis
-Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and professional interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a high level of energy throughout the day with students, parents, and teachers
- Work as a team member, but be capable of completing given projects with minimal supervision
- Strong academic background in Math / English-related subjects
- Must have a passion for teaching and the desire to help each student succeed

- Available to work on Saturday and/or Sunday (Flexible Schedule)
