South Essex College is the largest provider of technical and vocational education and training for 16-18 year olds, adults and apprenticeship provision within Essex – and we are growing!
The main responsibilities of this role are to deliver underpinning knowledge to learners and to carry out work based assessment to apprentices, and support them to fulfil their course assessment requirements including End Point Assessment.
The post holder will be supporting Apprentices working towards the Carpentry Apprenticeship standard. Tutor/Assessors will work with learners in both group and individual basis. The post holder will be the main point of contact with the Apprentices and the employers to ensure that effective and timely progress is made and Apprentices successfully achieve their End Point Assessment. This interaction with learners may take place at one of the College’s campuses or in the learner’s workplace. The post holder would benefit from having Assessor qualification but could work towards this.
