We are recruiting to a permanent Grade 7 (G7) post, that will be based in the Department of Life Sciences!
About us:
Manchester Metropolitan University is one of the UK's largest and most popular Universities.
The Department of Life Sciences is one of the largest in the University, attracting large numbers of students on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. At undergraduate level, we offer degrees in Biomedical Science, Healthcare Science (Physiological Sciences), Human Physiology and Human Biosciences. There are taught Masters programmes in Biomedical Science, Clinical Sciences and Human Physiology.
The Department resides within the Faculty of Science and Engineering and benefits from spacious, modern and well-equipped teaching and research facilities having benefitted from recent significant and on-going investment.
About you:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is committed to providing an excellent learning experience for our taught undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Department of Life Sciences and enhancing our educational reputation.
To be successful you will:
- have experience of teaching in Life Sciences and an understanding of current teaching practices/developments within higher education.
- have a first and higher postgraduate qualification/degree in a relevant discipline or appropriate equivalent experience in the subject field.
