Support, Teaching and Learning Community Tutor
The College requires a teacher, with a real passion for their subject, to join our Adult Education Provision. The successful candidate needs to have a flexible approach to delivering Support, Teaching and Learning courses to adult learners as part of the community provision. We work in partnership with Job Centres and community support organisations across Hampshire to provide a range of courses to support unemployed people back into work. Training can take place in the community across Hampshire as well as in college. We welcome applications from candidates who have experience working with this client group and ideally a teaching or assessing qualification or be willing to work towards. The successful candidate will have the desire and ability to inspire all students to reach their full potential and must be able to show a clear commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning for students. This role requires someone with good communication and organisational skills, who is patient and engaging.
The successful applicant must be prepared to travel across Hampshire.
Travel expenses will be paid.
Contract: Casual claims
Salary - Scale point 3 £31,423 (FTE) pro rata
Closing date – Noon 14th July 2023
Interview date – Week commencing 17th July 2023
Start date – September 2023
