Tutor Assessor – Functional Skills – Hertford Regional College – Workplace delivery based in Broxbourne – Permanent
Functional Skills Maths (21.6 hours a week), Functional Skills English (14.4 hours a week)
We are seeking 2 dynamic individuals as Functional Skills Maths and Functional Skills English Tutor/Assessors who have the drive and passion to deliver the full range of professional services associated with programmes of teaching, learning, assessment, and student support. Delivery will be for apprentices across the full range of HRC apprenticeships offer, functional skills Maths and or English at level 1 and level 2. You will ensure the full implementation of course review, evaluation, and development, and work pro-actively to secure constant quality improvement and apprenticeship timely completion and achievement of the highest possible standards. You will promote the importance of planning a flexible training and assessment programme of delivery, to ensure that all apprentices are sufficiently stretched and challenged with Maths and or English skills throughout their apprenticeship programme.
You will be an enthusiastic teacher with a minimum Level 3 maths and or English qualification or maths and or English specialism, and hold a teacher training qualification or commitment to achieve in a specified period of time. You will have proven teaching experience in delivering maths / English within a Further Education, Higher Education or learning environment.

Salary: £28,555 - £36,092 pro rata per annum depending on qualification and experience
(Actual Salary: Functional Skills Maths £17,133 - £21,655 per annum, Functional Skills English £11,422 - £14,436 per annum)
Annual Leave: 25 days per annum plus all public and bank holidays
