Job description
This independent school would like to appoint a SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
You will need to have excellent behaviour management skills and a calm, professional attitude. You will be able to build positive relationships with students easily, as you will be working 1:1 with the same pupil daily.

- Experienced at working with children with Special Educational Needs behavioural difficulties
- A calm manner whilst in a busy classroom environment
- Dedicated to helping pupils reach their full potential
- Understanding to the child's needs
- Experienced in supporting children (preferably on a 1:1 basis
- Have good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to process one. It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
