OTE £60,000 per annum
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dealer-based Sales Executive to join the Renault Trucks team, to support our dealerships in West Thurrock, Felixstowe and Faversham to sell Used Trucks. You will split your time between the three sites to enable you to build strong relationships with your colleagues as well as with your customers.
This is a great opportunity for someone that is self-motivated and driven. We are open to recruiting a trainee into the team, so If you don’t already have sales experience, or are unfamiliar with commercial vehicles, we will fully train and support you, so that, with time, you are up to speed with our products and services and can confidently sell the complete Renault Trucks range and deliver the Total Solutions approach.
Part of the role will be managing the retail stock displays in both sites, to ensure that they are presented professionally to maximise sales opportunities whilst maintaining the company image. Our Used Trucks by Renault Trucks brand offers our customers a tailor-made solution from a large range of vehicles, and we are proud to be able to remarket and repurpose vehicles for our customers.
JOB ROLE
You will be responsible for:
- Selling used vehicles & our complete range of products and services, including maintenance, financial and telematics products across the region.
- Actively prospecting for new business
- Developing and maintaining commercial relationships with existing customers.
- Providing clear and accurate financially sound quotations to customers, taking into consideration their requirements.
- Correctly presenting all goods and services offered to customers
- Working effectively with the customer management system and maintaining regular updates of data.
- Working cross-functionally and across all business areas.
- Delivering a personal and professional handover at the point of vehicle delivery.

- Some relevant sales experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential if you already have some automotive knowledge
- Experienced in building and maintaining great customer or colleague relationships
- A good negotiator who can rely on their influence to gain commitment
- Proficient in MS Office systems with an ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Well organised with able to prioritise well
- Self-Confident and comfortable to prospect for new business and cold call
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable with regular travel between the three sites and our Returns Centre in Warwickshire
