Job description
As a Forklift Truck Driver you will ensure safe and efficient operation of processes you are responsible for. Certify you correctly follow processes and safety procedures. Carry out forklift truck duties safely and responsibly. Perform any reasonable requests by line management, this includes any workshop recycling duties.
Specific job tasks or activities
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Maintain safe practices in accordance with procedures and provide feedback for improvement
- Load consignment accuracy
- Recycling operative duties as and when requested to do so
- Carry out any other yard duties
Qualifications and experience
Mandatory
- A forklift qualification is essential for this role
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant forklift experience
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting
- Must be able to reliably commute to the Thetford site daily
Desired
- Experience of working within the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Industry
- Able to work weekends and bank holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
