Job description
We are seeking a professional Truck Driver who is hardworking, energetic and ambitious. The perfect candidate will have experience as a HGV Driver and will have worked in a similar position in the past. The successful candidate will have knowledge on trucks, trailers and heavy machinery , and will enthusiastically work week days and sometimes on weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Be confident in all areas of driving
- Communicate effectively to dispatchers and clients
- Maintain all company standards, procedures and disciplines while maintaining all health and safety protocols
- Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
- Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
- Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Office after delivery
- Loading/Unloading Materials
- Ensure deliveries of Materials to sites are made in a timely manner
Hold a valid Class 2 HGV Drivers Licence, CPC and Tacho Card
Rates of pay will be discussed during the interview process

Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
