What You'll Be Doing
- Performing mechanical inspections of tractor-trailer units including pre/during/post trip inspections of gauges, lighting and electrical systems, visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel, and air leaks to ensure safety of equipment
- Operating tractor-trailer equipped with multi-speed transmission (Automatic or Manual) safely by adhering to all safety requirements
- Connecting and disconnecting semi-trailer hoses
- Completing all applicable paperwork and documentation
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate Driver Logs throughout the duration of each shift
- Communicating with Dispatch effectively
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Performing physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
- Utilizing satellite tracking equipment and other systems
- Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act
- Flexibility to work nights/evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs is a must
Minimum Requirements:
- Age - 23 or older
- AZ / Class 1 Driver's License
- Minimum 3 Years Class 1 Driving Experience
- 5 Year Commercial Drivers Abstract (LCV Certificate considered an asset)

Salary: $26.35-$31.35 per hour
