Job description

UNIS is one of the largest & fastest growing Logistics companies, we are looking for qualified Company Drivers. As a Company Driver for UNIS Transportation, you will transport non-Hazardous freight to our extensive clientele. This is year-round work, with consistent volumes picking up and delivering.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet customers with friendly and positive attitude.
Meet daily pick-up and delivery schedule
Detecting freight damages at the time of pick-up.
Able to work with handheld device
Working in tandem with the company policies.
Maintain company vehicle appearance.
Completing all tasks as assigned by the dispatcher
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Specifications

All driver applicants are required to be at least 20 years of age
Have a minimum experience operating a box truck for 2 years
Must have a “Class B” issued by the driver’s state of residence.
Should have excellent written as well as verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers.

Job Qualifications

High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
Pass Background Check / Drug Screen
Valid Driver's License
Able to work in a warehouse environment.
Able to lift to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
