We are seeking a Part Time AZ Cross Border Truck Driver
Murpac is a family-owned company and is currently hiring a experienced AZ driver to help continue our growth and expand our transportation capabilities. We are running cross-border dry-van freight.
No Weekends and most Fridays off, Steady runs
One to Two runs per week
Responsibilities
· Deliver loads as assigned by the Manager.
· Responsible for vehicle care and maintenance.
· Performs daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections.
· Maintains accurate E-Logs.
· Performs all paperwork according to business requirements.
· Promote and exercise a high level of safety practices amongst all personnel in conjunction with company policies and the OHSA.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
· Have the ability to communicate effectively with management, other support staff and customers.
· Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
· Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Possess the following basic skills; reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, problem solving, and critical thinking.
· Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Qualifications
· Class AZ driver’s license with clean driving record/ CVOR and 3 or more years driving experience.
