Job description
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for on going work which could lead to a Perm position if desired at our busy Droitwich Depot. Current shifts available-
0000 - 0500am starts
1600 - 2000 starts
Applicants must be able to work Friday and Saturday as part of their working week.
The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to NDC’ and RDC’S, Trunking work, and shop deliveries also. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.
It is an immediate start for the successful candidate and on going work upon successfully passing a driving assessment.
Salary:
Monday - Friday. Days - £14.00
Monday - Friday. Nights - £16.00
Monday to Friday- overtime after 47.5 hours. Days - £15.75
Monday to Friday- overtime after 47.5 hours. Nights - £18.00
Saturday Day - £15.75
Saturday Night - £18.00
Sunday- BH Day - £21.00
Sunday - BH Night - £24.00
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Day to day duties will include the following:
Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
Prepping vehicles for delivery.
Completing vehicles checks.
Refuelling vehicles.
Multi drop deliveries.
The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
Excellent Communication skills.
UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
Digi & CPC Card.
No more than 6 points for minor offences.
