Mercury Recycling Ltd are urgently seeking a Class 2 ADR driver. In this Class 2 Driver role, you will have the opportunity to utilise your skills and abilities, driving a 26T wagon to different sites across the UK. What you are delivering truly makes a difference to customers and because of the range of customers our client has, no two days are the same. As a Class 2 Driver you will work within a fantastic team, who support and help each other every day, whilst also being able to work independently driving your vehicle. The team work together to ensure everyone understands their routes, offering assistance when needed and helping each other get ready for the deliveries and day ahead. It’s the perfect combination of autonomy and teamwork. Training and development is important to our client and opportunities are there for you to develop your driving skills and potentially progress if desired. General Duties Include • Multi drops to sites and businesses - • Loading and unloading of vehicle. • Ensuring excellent customer service. • Driving safely and considerately. • Daily vehicle inspections. The Ideal Driver Will Have The Following • Hold a Cat C (HGV Class 2) licence for at least 6 months • Have a valid in date CPC and Digi-tacho • Have a valid ADR • Understanding of driver’s hours and tachograph regulations • Excellent communication skills • Willingness to listen and learn and ask for help if needed Shifts: This is an ongoing Monday - Friday position with 0600am starts. You will also be required to do 3 nights out per week. Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour if you have a Moffitt Licence & £12.50 if you do not. You will be required to fill in some paperwork before you can start as a Class 2 ADR driver. All drivers must be over the age of 21, have a valid CPC and Tacho, have driven a Class 2 vehicle for a minimum of 6 months and have no more than 6 points on your driving licence, with no DD, DR or NI convictions.
