Job description
PS Ridgway are recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join their fleet of drivers. Current vacancies:
Class 1/Class 2 Driver
You will complete local deliveries that will require you to drive both class 1 and class 2 vehicles.
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday
Salary: Dependent on vehicle being driven. (£12.00-£12.50)
Guaranteed 45 hours paid per week
In order to be considered for the position you will have:
- A valid Class 1 Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
In return, PS Ridgway will not only provide you with full DCPC training whilst in our employment but we will make sure any additional training is covered as standard.
With shared use of a modern, well equipped vehicle (based on length of service) and a dedicated operator to support you, you will have the independence to complete predominantly palletised deliveries in a variety of sectors across various locations all over the country. Finally, with no flat work and a joining bonus of £250 paid after 3 months of service, you can’t go wrong!
