Our client are Ireland’s leading Metal Finishing Company. The Group has subsidiaries and branches throughout Ireland, employing over 180 people and providing the construction & commercial industry with quality products and services.

They have an exciting opportunity for a full time HGV Class 1driver to join their successful and growing team at their Mallusk site .

All training on company systems and procedures will be provided to ensure the successful candidate reaches the highest level of performance.

Key responsibility areas:

• Load vehicles for deliveries ensuring health & safety regulations/procedures are adhered to including weights and safe loading.
• Ensure tracking procedure is used at all times.
• Maintaining the driving hour’s rules & regulations regarding tachographs/Working Time Directives.
• Competency of paperwork, delivery notes signed & dated etc.
• High Level of Customer Service, aiming to exceed Customer Expectations at all times.

It is essential that the successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Flexible with working hours
• Have a customer focused approach
• Basic level of education
• HGV Class C&E licence.
• Driver CPC compliance.

Desirable Role Requirements:

• Experience strapping & chaining of loads.

Pay Rate: £13.16 per hour for days shift; £14.48 for evening shift

All overtime will be paid at a time and a third - £17.50
