Joseph Ash Galvanizing are currently looking for experienced, skilled Forklift Truck driver to join our team at our site in Telford.
We are recruiting for various roles and varied shift patterns, working within our large galvanizing plant you will be moving varied sizes of loads.
Joseph Ash supply galvanized products to various clients with different demands from individual bespoke detailed work through to high volume multi-tonne contracts.

Your day to day
- Working within the team to ensure safe movement of loads around the site
- Mapping out loads for HGV lorries to ensure safe and efficient loading
- Assisting with wrapping and packing products
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
What we are looking for:
- In date FLT licence
- Experience working with various shaped loads and heavy loads - pallet experience is not comparable to our systems
- Positive people with a can do attitude.
- Someone who enjoys working in a manual environment where heavy lifting is part of the daily activities.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
What we offer
- Shifts rotate weekly as follows based on a 37.5 hour working week:
- Dayshift - 6am - 2pm, Backshift - 2pm - 10pm, Nightshift - 10pm - 6am - MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL 3 SHIFTS
- £40 shift allowance is paid for working on nightshift.
