Hiring AZ Owner Operators in Perth, ON! (Canada Only)

Contrans is the largest tank truck carrier based in Ontario. Our trailer fleet consists of pressure vessels, vacuum units, pneumatic, food grade, chemical, corrosives and many others.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid AZ/Class 1 License

• Must be available to sleep in the truck 1 to 2 nights per week

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

• Must have a satisfactory driver abstract & CVOR

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Must be able to Climb ladders, stairs, and pull/push 20-foot hoses out of tanks

• Be able to understand and operate multi-axle trailers to ensure weight compliance

• $2500 Sign on bonus

• $200 Annual Uniform allowance

• Personal protective equipment provided (not including works boots)

• Decals (Door Logo, Unit numbers and Running authorities)

• Bi-Weekly pays

• Available Runs: We mainly go to Northern Ontario, Quebec, and the 401 corridors

• Present Pay Period: B- Trains: $3.48/Loaded Mile and $2.81/Empty Mile

Tandem US: $2.83/Loaded Mile and $2.33/Empty Mile

• Dispatch support and compliance department – on call 24 hours a day

• Equipment properly maintained, clean and damage free

• Maintenance shops in Burford, Woodstock, Norwood, Perth, Cardinal, and Bedford QC

• When available use of Wash Bay, located at most Terminals
