Key focus:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of desilting and gully sucking activities on utility ducts to ensure the efficient functioning of our clients’ telecommunications network. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform desilting and gully sucking activities in accordance with company guidelines and health and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain equipment including vacuum trucks, Jetters, and other machinery.
• Inspect, repair, and clean drainage systems and associated equipment.
• Record and report any issues or defects identified during work to the relevant personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
• Any other duties that may reasonably be required of you.

Requirements:

• 
  Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment used for desilting and gully sucking activities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to desilting and gully sucking activities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be capable of operating a vehicle weighing up to 7.5 Tons.
