Job Description
Due to restructuring, we are currently looking for a qualified Class 2 HGV (CAT C) driver to join our team at Express Linen Services, Blackpool. This position is full time, Monday to Friday 4am-12.30pm plus an alternate Saturday. The successful candidate must be a good team player and be a responsible and courteous driver.

£12 ph plus Performance related bonus.
The main responsibilities for the position:
To load, unload, deliver and collect laundry from hotels/hospitals in the North West region, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service skills.
To undertake duties as necessary when instructed by the Transport/Operations Managers.
To comply with driving performance systems and complete daily first use vehicle checks. This includes keeping your vehicle in a clean and safe condition.
Essential Requirements:
Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Licence. (with no more than 6 points)
Minimum of 12 months HGV driver experience needed.
Valid CPC and Tachograph Digital Card required.
Comply with all traffic law and legislation including security and weight of loads.
Skills needed:
Manual Handling experience.
Able to follow safety procedures for loading and unloading roll cages, bags and packs of linen.
Attention to detail to be able to complete paperwork accurately and effectively.
Good Communication/Customer Service skills.
Good knowledge of the Highway code, EU drivers rules and regulations, WTD and general vehicle safety.
