Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be a crucial link in our supply chain, responsible for transporting food and beverages from our central unit to our commercial outlets. Your main responsibilities will include:
Safe Transportation: Safely operate the delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle and report any issues to the appropriate authorities.
Delivery Planning: Efficiently plan delivery routes to multiple commercial outlets, optimizing time and fuel consumption while ensuring on-time deliveries.
Loading and Unloading: Carefully load products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring that they are secure and protected during transit. Unload goods at each commercial outlet, verifying the accuracy of the delivery against invoices.
Order Accuracy: Double-check delivery orders to ensure the correct products and quantities are loaded for each commercial outlet.
Communication: Communicate effectively with the central unit and commercial outlets, providing updates on delivery schedules and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels at the central unit and commercial outlets, reporting any discrepancies.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and serviced regularly. Report any maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple deliveries.
Attention to detail, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with the central unit and commercial outlets.
Physical ability to load and unload goods as required.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings and weekends.
A responsible and reliable attitude, dedicated to meeting delivery timelines.
