Job description
Careermakers is recruiting full-time professional experienced Vehicle Collection & Delivery drivers to complement our client current team.
As one of our drivers you will be provided with vehicle movements for collection and delivery of a commercial vehicles from a multitude of locations for businesses retail customers.
No multi-drop! You will deliver the trucks themselves!
There’s no loading/ unloading, no handball as you deliver trucks itself!
The role includes:
· Vehicle delivery direct to customer and to another depot
· Collecting vehicles from customer when coming off hire, or from another depot
· Taking a driver to collect a vehicle or picking a driver up who has made a delivery
· Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork
· You will need a PPE – safety boots and high viz
· Work wear – dark cargo type trousers or black jeans, dark polo t-shirt, dark sweatshirt or jumper, coat.
You need to present:
· Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record with no traffic violations
· Valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
· This is a client facing position, you need to show good interpersonal skills
· The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion
· Strong organisational and prioritization skills
· No more than 6 points on your licence with no major endorsements (DR10, IN10, TT99, CD40)
About job:
· Work starts between 7 am and 7.30 am
· Work is temporary, ongoing, 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday with overtime available and a possibility to get full-time.
· Pay rate: up to £700 weekly
· No Multi drop!
