Position Summary
While working as OTR Box Truck Driver you will be tasked with duties related to freight hauling, pickups, deliveries, loading and unloading vehicles freight using pallet jack and lift gate. Ensure all compliance with logging work/rest and miles with time. Maintain all receipts for company related expenses. This position requires you comply with all federal DOT rules, state laws and safety standards. Position is 1099.
Essential duties/Responsibilities
* Ability to operate 26ft box truck * Ability to plan routes and meet delivery deadlines * Manage freight pickups, hauling and delivery * Maintain logbooks in accordance with DOT regulations (Electronic or Manual) * Ability to read and use electronic equipment and software (ex. macropoint, ELD, GPS etc.) * Follow established traffic procedures, comply with all DOT state and federal traffic laws * Ensure the vehicle is safe and clean to operate and is compliant with DOT * Demonstrate excellent customer relations, communication and time management skills * Ensure all paperwork is signed properly and load matches BOL * Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather etc) * Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical items and preventive maintenance * Maintain professionalism while interacting with vendors and others * Uniform shirt and PPE must be on when arriving to all sights
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree * Minimum 1 year experience OTR driving * Minimum 1 year experience 26ft box truck or larger vehicle
Certifications
* Must have valid drivers license in US state. 3 year driving record, no recent moving or
driving violations * Must have DOT medical examiners card (Able to get before starting position) * Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,700.00 per week
