Treasury Analyst
Location: Central Support, Hemel Hempstead.
Job Type: Fixed Term - Hybrid.
Salary: £27,000 per annum

In this role, you will have a broad and varied remit which will include all aspects of the day to day running of the Treasury function of Away Resorts, including safeguarding cash by supporting parks and compliance with internal controls and processes.

What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the preparation of daily reconciliations of regional park and head office bank accounts on a timely basis and ensure that all transactions are accounted for correctly.
- To ensure timely payments, posting of receipts and card transaction reconciliations, allocate payments and investigate any queries accurately on a timely basis and any discrepancies resolved.
- Month end completed in accordance with close timetable.
- Responsible for the preparation of the Group’s Balance sheet reconciliation for period end for float, petty cash, bank rec and PDQs.
- To support parks with daily, weekly and monthly cash processes, investigating any discrepancies in cash
- To provide accurate and timely report of costs/income in management accounts.
- Ensure all transactions are accounted for, all claims have appropriated back up for VAT purposes and coding in line with management accounts / P&L.
- Users to be set up set up according on expense modules with the appropriate line management sign off.
Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need:

- Desirable, AAT/CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience within a successful treasury department.
- Desirable, experience in a consumer-facing business is preferable with a good understanding of consumer behaviour.
- Ability to work under pressure, providing accurate high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
