Full Time Norwich, England 27344 - 29439 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £27,344 to £29,439 per annum (Grade G) | Norwich

We are looking for a highly organised, committed individual to join the Passenger Transport team to help deliver our responsibilities towards home to school transport and local bus services.

The primary responsibility of this role is organising transport for children to get to and from school, and to respite and social care appointments, including for children with special education needs and disabilities. You will be dealing with parents, schools and transport operators on a daily basis, therefore excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. An understanding of contract management and procurement is a distinct advantage, as the transport is contracted out to third party providers. A knowledge of SEND and risk assessments would also be advantageous although not essential.

This is a role in a busy reactive team, but is very rewarding, and good team working is essential - we offer a hybrid working pattern, with the postholder expected to be in the office at least twice a week. You would need to be very organised and have good time management skills to ensure all work is carried out in the timescales required.

For further information about the work that we do, please contact Niki Park on 01603 224351.

We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our workspaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people. Flexibility is built into the way we work, with hybrid working a key feature for many roles. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
