Job description
- You have previous travel agency or corporate travel experience
- You remain calm under pressure
- You are a good communicator
- You have strong IT skills, to include Microsoft and ideally GDS
- Liaising with internal departments & employees preparing travel arrangements for project and corporate colleagues.
- Working with various travel providers to pull together a travel itinerary
- Providing advice about airline and country requirements.
- Providing advice on flight delays and lost luggage.
- Adhere to company QHSSE standards and demonstrate through awareness and compliance.
- Arranging vaccinations as required.
- Arranging visa’s
- Check and approve invoices
- There will be the requirement for 'on-call' beyond normal business hours to address any needs an employee or client may have in transit, this will be on a rota basis and paid overtime accordingly.
- Previous experience working in a travel agency or corporate travel
- Travel and Tourism qualification
- Knowledge of Travel Global Distribution System (GDS) ideally with certification
- Calm under pressure
- Can work to deadlines
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Organised
- Strong Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
