Management Accountant
Department: Finance
Reporting to: Beck Prosper General Manager & European Financial Controller
£45k-£55k Per Annum (depending on experience) + Bonus + Benefits
Overall Goal: As the Management Accountant for Beck Prosper Limited with direct responsibility for the local finance, you will have responsibility of the financial reporting of the business including monthly management accounts, weekly cash flow forecasting, annual budgeting & Year End audit. You will also support the local general manager and department heads in driving and improving the business on profitability and other key KPl's.
General Responsibilities & Brief (The duties listed below are not listed in any order of priority or importance and are not intended to restrict or prioritize the activities of the working day):
- Responsible for the day to day running of the finance department including managing 3 accounting administration staff. Including customer account creation and setting credit limits in accordance with group credit insurance policy.
- Production of Monthly management accounts, including commentary, analysis, and full balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with annual statutory audit requests.
- Production of annual budgets and forecasts in accordance with group timetable.
- VAT returns and other governmental requirements.
- Attend management meeting and directors' meetings.
- Cash Management, including cash book postings, cash collection & weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Margin and sales analysis.
- To support local General Manager & department heads and assist UK Financial controller.
- To help drive & improve financial and non-financial processes.
- To help drive & improve trade working capital.
- Other ad hoc reports and requirements from management as and when required.
- Execution of Group Strategy to delivery competitive advantage.

- ACA / CIMA/ ACCA 2 Years PQE-Essential.
- Costing experience -Advantageous.
