About the Business / Function
The vacancy is for a role within our busy London Destination Office, where our team handle the procurement of all land services (attractions, coaches, restaurants, guides and activities) and support our global sales functions by providing quick and accurate costings, creative ideas and solutions to service tours to our regions.
About the Role
We have an exciting new opening for a Destination Management Coordinator to be based in London to help deliver high quality service and support for all groups visiting UK, Ireland and Benelux regions by supporting with land service quotations to our global sales teams, building strong relationships with suppliers, helping with promotions and project work, uploading contracts to our global databases and supporting our Land Service Procurement Managers. This position is well suited to a highly organized, accurate and multitasking individual. Full time role with hybrid working (requirement to attend the office twice a week).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert destination support by supporting with quotations, destination information and promotions.
- Handle contract loading on the relevant operating systems.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Complete any rate collection/negotiation activities requested your manager.
- Undertake project work as required by management.
To Succeed in the Role, You Should Have:
- Knowledge of either UK, Ireland or Benelux tourist destinations preferred.
- Experience of data uploading.
- Proficient in Microsoft (outlook, word, excel, power point).
- Experience in dealing with either suppliers or sales teams in a similar role
We Are Looking for a Person With:
- Good English oral and written communication skills.
- Destination expertise (good knowledge of UK, Ireland or Benelux regions preferred)
- Excellent at multitasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
