Reporting into the Travel Manager, the Travel Account Relationship Manager will be the key owner of the day-to-day relationship between Hood Group’s internal departments and our Travel affinity partners. Your focus is to develop an exceptional client relationship, drive customer profitability and to co-ordinate delivery from across the respective internal business functions and external suppliers. You will be responsible for significant revenue growth, business retention, identification of growth opportunities and delivering of our joint strategy for the partner and for Hood Group.
What will I do in the role?
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships as the lead point of contact for your accounts
- Communicate partner requirements and demands internally within the business, ensuring timely and successful delivery according to customer needs and objectives
- Feed into, and track and report progress against, budget and forecast
- Working closely with the Travel Manager, and Pricing Manager and their team, to co-ordinate and deliver effectively through the insurer relationships
- Recognise opportunities for business development and drive account growth, using commercial awareness to understand the needs, requirements, and goals of the partners business
- Arrange partner and insurer review meetings, drive agenda, co-ordinate and agree attendees, build and deliver presentations and clearly capture, share and manage the actions / minutes
- Communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes
- Coordinate the various travel internal functions as required to service and develop the brands
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
What do I need?
- Previous Travel Account or Relationship Management experience in the Travel or Insurance sector
- Excellent written and oral communication skills - able to make clear and concise presentations to management and external organisations, including audience presentation experience
- Good influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Evidence of excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills, both personally and of other departments
- High level of pro-activeness and ability to use initiative when problem solving
- Ability to work on own initiative maintaining drive and motivation and to work towards effective delivery of objectives
- Proactive and professional attitude with the drive to get involved where necessary to achieve a successful outcome
- Ability to understand the importance of confidentiality in handling customer personal data

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
