Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance cutting-edge products using advanced data science techniques.
- Work closely with global clients to understand their needs, provide data-driven insights, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Explore and implement new methodologies and algorithms to optimize data models and enhance predictive capabilities.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and related fields, bringing new ideas and innovations to the team.
- Promote and uphold our core values of teamwork, creativity, courage, and learning in all aspects of your work.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
- A Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience working with data manipulation and analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of database systems, SQL, and data pipelines in the cloud (expertise with Azure preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Proven track record of delivering successful data-driven projects and solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for teamwork, collaboration, and a desire to make a positive impact within a startup environment.

Location:
The role is based in the UK but will be remotely located; our preference is for the candidate to be located reasonably close to the M4 corridor between London and Cardiff to facilitate travel to team meetings. However, this is not an essential requirement. Our Cardiff office is located in the Sbarc|Spark Building on Maindy Road.
