Job description
At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for a Transport Supervisor - Nights based at our Bicester Depot.
The position will involve:
- Provide leadership and supervision of transport issues, including dispatch debrief and work in progress.
- You will also be required to work closely with our customer to ensure the smooth running of the operation as a whole.
- Coordination activities include, effective vehicle route planning and scheduling, driver control.
- Managing and de-briefing drivers effectively.
- Skilled at multi – tasking and organising workload.
- Adhering to Company Health and Safety Policy.
- Customer relations and a range of associated administrative duties.
- Answering all queries via email, phone, and face to face.
- Working effectively alone or as part of the wider team in Bicester.
- Some holiday cover will be required, and some additional days as required by the operation during peak periods.
