What you will enjoy doing

• You will review, maintain and update training records and ensure that all staff are available and attend training as required
• Completing thorough driver trip debriefs and refer poor performing drivers to the transport manager is part of this role
• Manage driver’s hours & ensure legal compliance as per the Working Time Directive & Drivers hour’s rules
• Using the Logistics UK gateway to maintain driver hour records and tachographs, including uploading vehicles and drivers within the prescribed time limits, compiling and sending tables/envelopes to the FTA for analysis
• Further you will ensure vehicles are available for scheduled maintenance & MOT, with an appropriate replacement to meet the business demand
• Carryout driving licence, ADR certificate, CPC card checks at the appropriate time
• Maintain & review driving licence records is required as well as enter accurate WvS data onto NTD
• Managing & review Webfleet/TomTom or its equivalent for each driver, challenge and debrief drivers as appropriate for any recorded exceptions is desired
