B & T Hicks Transport require a Transport Planner / Supervisor to join our growing well established team in Newport, South Wales. Immediate start is available upon successful completion of onsite interview and assessment.
Role:
The role will offer an opportunity to become part of a thriving Business within the haulage industry. You will be involved in assisting in all aspects of Planning Logistics throughout the working day, from dealing with Drivers face to face through to the use of existing transport data management systems. Initial mentoring will be provided but an extensive knowledge of transport planning & compliance is a must and previous experience of using transport management systems is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft software is also essential.
Shifts:
Start times 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday – Friday (Some flexibility maybe required subject to work demand).
Rates of Pay:
· £35k - £40k per year (Subject to candidates experience)
