Here at Ultimate Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Night Transport Planner for a very well established client.

Area: Birmingham

Pay rate: £14.87 per hour PAYE this rate is for an experienced Transport Planner, the rate may be lower depending on experience.

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 depending on experience

Temp to Perm (10 weeks through Ultimate Recruitment and then direct with our client)

Start times: 18:00 – 2am

Hours per week: 37.5 hours

Overall Role Purposes:

An experienced person with the capability to manage and plan vehicles for collections and deliveries throughout the UK.
Ability to adapt and embrace change while keeping calm in a pressured time driven environment
Needs to be familiar with DVSA, WTD, and UK legislation.
To work as part of the transport team.
To be flexible with working times and days, and be part of a shift operation.
Needs to be able to communicate effectively at all levels, with a history of dealing with both internal and external customers,
Good PC skills, Specifically Word, Excel, Outlook
(Atlas would be advantageous)
Proven history in freight forwarding with the ability to demonstrate their forward thinking attitude and how to compel others to follow the same
Will be compliant in all processes and procedures.
Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety in the work place as well as monitoring and enforcing all safe systems of work for drivers to follow,
Must have a full understanding Aviation Security regulations and ensuring compliance at all times
Needs to be a good problem solver and enjoy the challenge
Must have a good understanding of current UK legislation to vehicles and drivers hours and vehicle regulations.
Good rate of pay, dependent on experience and the benefits for working for a global logistic company.
