Transport Coordinator

Based Glasgow

We are recruiting a Transport Coordinator to work within our Scottish traffic department based at our offices in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious person who wants to join an established, secure and growing business.

The role

  • You will be responsible for arranging our customers' transport requirements using our database of subcontract hauliers.
  • You will ensure that all our orders are all delivered on time in line with our customer requirements.
  • You will ensure that our vehicles are utilised to maximum efficiency at all times.
  • You will build relationships with both current and new haulier partners.
  • You will support the development of our business in Scotland.

Skills & experience required

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Must display a can do attitude to daily challenges and requests.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service attitude.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to drive growth from both new and existing clients.

Salary: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
