Are you a graduate or experienced surveyor/engineer looking to take your career to new heights?
We are seeking a talented Geospatial Technical Support professional to join our team. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to support our valued customers with technical queries related to Trimble Survey products, provide training, and create support guides.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers within the Sales Region, offering expert support and guidance on the usage of Trimble Survey products
- Provide exceptional training sessions to customers, ensuring they have a deep understanding of the product features and capabilities
- Create detailed and user-friendly support guides and documentation to assist customers in resolving technical queries independently
- Act as a problem solver, confidently addressing IT issues and troubleshooting challenges that customers encounter
- Maintain strong communication channels with customers, understanding their needs and delivering timely and effective solutions
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to identify opportunities for product enhancements and improvements based on customer feedback
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in geospatial technology, particularly in GPS and Trimble survey products, to provide valuable insights to customers
Requirements:
- A degree in Survey/Geomatics (or similar) field or a minimum of 3 years proven experience in the survey/construction/civils industry
- Exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, and confidence in handling IT issues and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers
- Knowledge and experience in GPS technology is desirable, particularly with Trimble survey products. However, comprehensive training will be provided
- A full driving license is required, as this role involves travel within the Southeast region. A company car will be provided
