TRANSPORT OPERATIVES - BACKS / DAYS

We have a number of Transport Operative roles available, working either on a day shift, or back shift, for our Bo'ness site.
Pay:
£10.50 per hour - Weekly Paid.
Shift Patterns:
Thursday - Monday
Location: Boness, (Carriden Industrial Estate, EH51 9SJ)

The Role:
We manufacture a wide range of high-quality fresh prepared food to top Supermarkets across the UK. Which means our production lines are non-stop. So, you’ll be kept busy loading finished goods on to vehicles in line with the outload plan. Always ensuring these duties are completed in line with Company policies and standard operating procedures, including Health and Safety, Food Safety and ‘Good Manufacturing Practices’
Job Accountabilities:
Throughout the duration of your shift shift, you will be likely to:
- Stack and label finished goods containers and transfer to the relevant area using the appropriate equipment e.g., Pallet Truck as per SOP.
- Pick and allocate by depot all finished goods using the relevant electronic equipment and complete all necessary labelling, paperwork, and factory trackers. (e.g., Warehouse Management System)
- Load finished goods and packing equipment in line with the outload plan and as per SOP, escalating any non-conformances to relevant Team Leader / Shift Manager.
- Unload packing equipment using the lift as per SOP and transfer to the relevant areas, escalating any non-conformances to relevant Team Leader / Shift Manager.
- Complete and record stock counts as required and communicate to the specified external parties and relevant team leader or shift manager.
- Carry out cleaning according to relevant Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC) and in line with the required hygiene, allergen, and food safety standards.
- Complete end of shift checks of the relevant equipment to ensure it meets the expected Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for the following shift
You Must Have:
The ability to understand and pass, as a minimum, the required level of English & Numeracy & Data accuracy requirements
Ability to understand and pass a food safety qualification
Right to work documentation
Ability to understand and adhere to health and safety requirements
