We at XPO are starting a new partnership with Tesco, and for this, we need you to come and save the nation! We are currently hiring a Transport Clerk on a night shift. You will be working Night shifts out of our Widnes depot with a 4 on, 4 off shift patter 1900-0700. What you’ll do on a typical day:
You will have a fixed start time of 1900 to 0600 - there is an element of weekend working needed on every shift pattern- co-ordinate the transport operations of the depot in order to achieve business objectives and the needs of the customer.
- To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism#
- Ensures that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information to both internal and external customers as required e.g. debrief of drivers, dealing with customer issues etc.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Working knowledge of driver hours regulations- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
- Operational understanding of team roles
