The Perse is one of the country’s leading co-educational independent day schools, providing a high quality education to pupils aged 3-18 in Cambridge.
An interesting opportunity has arisen at the Perse for a highly organised and proactive administrator to take control of our Transport department, with additional Reception responsibility. The post-holder will play a crucial role in organising the School’s busy schedule of transport for all School trips, sports fixtures and events, as well as co-ordinating the daily transport service to and from School. The aim is to ensure smooth, efficient and cost-effective transport operations. This will require both planning ahead and exercising initiative to solve problems as they arise, referring to senior staff as appropriate.
The successful applicant will work as part of the School Office team and will be responsible for staffing the main reception Monday to Friday 16:00-17:45, as well covering the Senior Receptionist’s lunch breaks Monday to Friday 12:30-13:00. They will also provide admin support for School trips as part of the wider Trips team.
